Before we get to the scotch drinker’s paradise known as The Highlands, we begin our explorations in the capital city of Edinburgh with its castle, the Royal Mile, and plenty of history. We have planned visits to the castle, the Royal Yacht Britannia, Johnnie Walker, a whisky dinner, and lunch at the legendary, candlelit Witchery. From there we proceed north to the highlands by private motorcoach. After immersing ourselves in the pleasures of Speyside’s whisky region for 4 nights, we end our journey in nearby Aberdeen. Our scotch experiences will include distillery tours but also mixology, blending, and food pairings. Other local highlights include a castle, cooperage, and woolen mill. It is a full and rich program.
